Why do I need Journey to Wholeness?
We all need to understand how our brain functions and how unacknowledged trauma influences our thoughts, feelings and behaviors so we can understand what is affecting us today. When you do, you can effectively move in the direction that will give you the results you want. When you don’t, you may experience one or more of the following:
- You feel like you’re stuck in an unhealthy cycle.
- You struggle with your personal or professional relationships.
- You’re quick to react and are angry often.
- You find it difficult to make sense of your emotions.
- You have a hard time making decisions or sticking to your commitments.

Is Journey to Wholeness right for me?
How do we meet?
What do the courses include?
Journey to Wholeness online is a 12-week course that you can do at your own pace. Includes 12 weekly video sessions from author and co-founder Becky Alcantar with applications and journal prompts to work through at your own pace. You’ll have access to the videos for 16 weeks.
Journey to Wholeness groups are facilitator led small groups. Includes 12 weekly 90-minute sessions with video driven content, participant workbooks, in class applications and group discussions.
Journey to Wholeness Intensives are courses facilitated at a fast pace over a few days by an experienced Pastoral Counselor. Intensives are ideal for motivated individuals or couples who are ready to clear their schedules. Intensives allow for extended time and space in a retreat environment. Includes all of the content and topics of the J2W groups in a condensed format. Limit of 6 individuals per intensive. Intensives can be hosted at our intimate Door County Retreat House or on-location.
- 4-day intensives – Arrive day 1 in the evening, and day 2 and 3 morning and afternoon sessions. Evenings for reflection, application and journaling. Day 4 morning session. Depart day 4 after morning sessions.
- 6-day intensives – Arrive day 1 in the evening, day 2-5 include morning sessions, afternoons and evening for reflection, application and journaling. Depart on day 6 after morning session.
J2W 1-1 COACHING
Journey to Wholeness 1 on 1 Coaching Sessions are facilitated by a Pastoral Counselor or an extensively trained Senior Facilitator. This option is for the individual or couple that would like a customized experience with the opportunity to take a deeper look into their history, narratives, patterns and unresolved traumas acquire a better understanding, clearer perspective and to move beyond past conflicts and barriers to wholeness and healing.
Sessions are 75-minutes via ZOOM and are ideal for those that have already completed one of our other course offerings.
